    David went to Nob, to Ahimelech the priest. Ahimelech trembled when he met him, and asked, 'Why are you alone? Why is no one with you?'

    David answered Ahimelech the priest, "The king charged me with a certain matter and said to me, 'No one is to know anything about your mission and your instructions.' As for my men, I have told them to meet me at a certain place.

    Now then, what do you have on hand? Give me five loaves of bread, or whatever you can find.'

    But the priest answered David, "I don't have any ordinary bread on hand; however, there is some consecrated bread here-provided the men have kept themselves from women."

    David replied, "Indeed women have been kept from us, as usual whenever I set out. The men's things are holy even on missions that are not holy. How much more so today!"

    Á¦»çÀåÀÌ ±× °Å·èÇÑ ¶±À» ÁÖ¾úÀ¸´Ï °Å±â´Â Áø¼³º´ °ð ¿©È£¿Í ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ¹°·Á ³½ ¶±¹Û¿¡ ¾ø¾úÀ½À̶ó ÀÌ ¶±Àº ´õ¿î ¶±À» µå¸®´Â ³¯¿¡ ¹°·Á ³½ °ÍÀÌ´õ¶ó

    So the priest gave him the consecrated bread, since there was no bread there except the bread of the Presence that had been removed from before the LORD and replaced by hot bread on the day it was taken away.

    ±× ³¯¿¡ »ç¿ïÀÇ ½ÅÇÏ ÇÑ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¿©È£¿Í ¾Õ¿¡ ¸Ó¹°·¯ ÀÖ¾ú´Âµ¥ ±×´Â µµ¿¢À̶ó À̸§ÇÏ´Â ¿¡µ¼ »ç¶÷ÀÌ¿ä »ç¿ïÀÇ ¸ñÀÚÀåÀ̾ú´õ¶ó

    Now one of Saul's servants was there that day, detained before the LORD; he was Doeg the Edomite, Saul's head shepherd.

    ´ÙÀ­ÀÌ ¾ÆÈ÷¸á·º¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¿©±â ´ç½ÅÀÇ ¼öÁß¿¡ âÀ̳ª Ä®ÀÌ ¾ø³ªÀÌ±î ¿ÕÀÇ ÀÏÀÌ ±ÞÇϹǷΠ³»°¡ ³» Ä®°ú ¹«±â¸¦ °¡ÁöÁö ¸øÇÏ¿´³ªÀÌ´Ù ÇÏ´Ï

    David asked Ahimelech, "Don't you have a spear or a sword here? I haven't brought my sword or any other weapon, because the king's business was urgent."

    The priest replied, 'The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, is here; it is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want it, take it; there is no sword here but that one.' David said, 'There is none like it; give it to me.'

      ±× ¶§¿¡ ¿¡µ¼ »ç¶÷ µµ¿¢ÀÌ »ç¿ïÀÇ ½ÅÇÏ Áß¿¡ ¼¹´õ´Ï ´ë´äÇÏ¿© À̸£µÇ ÀÌ»õÀÇ ¾ÆµéÀÌ ³ñ¿¡ ¿Í¼­ ¾ÆÈ÷µÓÀÇ ¾Æµé ¾ÆÈ÷¸á·º¿¡°Ô À̸¥ °ÍÀ» ³»°¡ º¸¾Ò´Âµ¥

      But Doeg the Edomite, who was standing with Saul's officials, said, "I saw the son of Jesse come to Ahimelech son of Ahitub at Nob.

      ¾ÆÈ÷¸á·ºÀÌ ±×¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ¿©È£¿Í²² ¹¯°í ±×¿¡°Ô À½½Äµµ ÁÖ°í ºí·¹¼Â »ç¶÷ °ñ¸®¾ÑÀÇ Ä®µµ ÁÖ´õÀÌ´Ù

      Ahimelech inquired of the LORD for him; he also gave him provisions and the sword of Goliath the Philistine.'

    3. 11

      ¿ÕÀÌ »ç¶÷À» º¸³»¾î ¾ÆÈ÷µÓÀÇ ¾Æµé Á¦»çÀå ¾ÆÈ÷¸á·º°ú ±×ÀÇ ¾Æ¹öÁöÀÇ ¿Â Áý °ð ³ñ¿¡ ÀÖ´Â Á¦»çÀåµéÀ» ºÎ¸£¸Å ±×µéÀÌ ´Ù ¿Õ²² À̸¥Áö¶ó

      Then the king sent for the priest Ahimelech son of Ahitub and his father's whole family, who were the priests at Nob, and they all came to the king.

      »ç¿ïÀÌ À̸£µÇ ³Ê ¾ÆÈ÷µÓÀÇ ¾Æµé¾Æ µéÀ¸¶ó ´ë´äÇ쵂 ³» ÁÖ¿© ³»°¡ ¿©±â ÀÖ³ªÀÌ´Ù

      Saul said, 'Listen now, son of Ahitub.' 'Yes, my lord,' he answered.

      »ç¿ïÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³×°¡ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ÀÌ»õÀÇ ¾Æµé°ú °ø¸ðÇÏ¿© ³ª¸¦ ´ëÀûÇÏ¿© ±×¿¡°Ô ¶±°ú Ä®À» ÁÖ°í ±×¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© Çϳª´Ô²² ¹°¾î¼­ ±×¿¡°Ô ¿À´ÃÀÌ¶óµµ ¸Åº¹ÇÏ¿´´Ù°¡ ³ª¸¦ Ä¡°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÏ¿´´À³Ä ÇÏ´Ï

      Saul said to him, 'Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, giving him bread and a sword and inquiring of God for him, so that he has rebelled against me and lies in wait for me, as he does today?'

      ¾ÆÈ÷¸á·ºÀÌ ¿Õ¿¡°Ô ´ë´äÇÏ¿© À̸£µÇ ¿ÕÀÇ ¸ðµç ½ÅÇÏ Áß¿¡ ´ÙÀ­ °°ÀÌ Ãæ½ÇÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ ´©±¸ÀÎÁö¿ä ±×´Â ¿ÕÀÇ »çÀ§µµ µÇ°í ¿ÕÀÇ È£À§´ëÀåµµ µÇ°í ¿Õ½Ç¿¡¼­ Á¸±ÍÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ ¾Æ´Ï´ÏÀ̱î

      Ahimelech answered the king, "Who of all your servants is as loyal as David, the king's son-in-law, captain of your bodyguard and highly respected in your household?

      ³»°¡ ±×¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© Çϳª´Ô²² ¹°Àº °ÍÀÌ ¿À´ÃÀÌ Ã³À½ÀÌ´ÏÀÌ±î °á´ÜÄÚ ¾Æ´Ï´ÏÀÌ´Ù ¿øÇÏ°Ç´ë ¿ÕÀº Á¾°ú Á¾ÀÇ ¾ÆºñÀÇ ¿Â Áý¿¡ ¾Æ¹«°Íµµ µ¹¸®Áö ¸¶¿É¼Ò¼­ ¿ÕÀÇ Á¾Àº ÀÌ ¸ðµç Å©°í ÀÛÀº ÀÏ¿¡ °üÇÏ¿© ¾Æ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¾ø³ªÀÌ´Ù Çϴ϶ó

      Was that day the first time I inquired of God for him? Of course not! Let not the king accuse your servant or any of his father's family, for your servant knows nothing at all about this whole affair."

      ¿ÕÀÌ À̸£µÇ ¾ÆÈ÷¸á·º¾Æ ³×°¡ ¹Ýµå½Ã Á×À» °ÍÀÌ¿ä ³Ê¿Í ³× ¾ÆºñÀÇ ¿Â Áýµµ ±×·¯Çϸ®¶ó ÇÏ°í

      But the king said, "You will surely die, Ahimelech, you and your father's whole family."

      ¿ÕÀÌ Á¿ìÀÇ È£À§º´¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ µ¹¾Æ°¡¼­ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ Á¦»çÀåµéÀ» Á×À̶ó ±×µéµµ ´ÙÀ­°ú ÇÕ·ÂÇÏ¿´°í ¶Ç ±×µéÀÌ ´ÙÀ­ÀÌ µµ¸ÁÇÑ °ÍÀ» ¾Ë°íµµ ³»°Ô ¾Ë¸®Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´À½À̴϶ó Çϳª ¿ÕÀÇ ½ÅÇϵéÀÌ ¼ÕÀ» µé¾î ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ Á¦»çÀåµé Á×À̱⸦ ½È¾îÇÑÁö¶ó

      Then the king ordered the guards at his side: "Turn and kill the priests of the LORD, because they too have sided with David. They knew he was fleeing, yet they did not tell me." But the king's officials were not willing to raise a hand to strike the priests of the LORD.

      ¿ÕÀÌ µµ¿¢¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³Ê´Â µ¹¾Æ°¡¼­ Á¦»çÀåµéÀ» Á×À̶ó ÇϸŠ¿¡µ¼ »ç¶÷ µµ¿¢ÀÌ µ¹¾Æ°¡¼­ Á¦»çÀåµéÀ» Ãļ­ ±× ³¯¿¡ ¼¼¸¶Æ÷ ¿¡º¿ ÀÔÀº ÀÚ ÆȽʿÀ ¸íÀ» Á׿´°í

      The king then ordered Doeg, 'You turn and strike down the priests.' So Doeg the Edomite turned and struck them down. That day he killed eighty-five men who wore the linen ephod.

    11. 19

      Á¦»çÀåµéÀÇ ¼ºÀ¾ ³ñÀÇ ³²³à¿Í ¾ÆÀ̵é°ú Á¥ ¸Ô´Â ÀÚµé°ú ¼Ò¿Í ³ª±Í¿Í ¾çÀ» Ä®·Î ÃÆ´õ¶ó

      He also put to the sword Nob, the town of the priests, with its men and women, its children and infants, and its cattle, donkeys and sheep.

    12. 20

      ¾ÆÈ÷µÓÀÇ ¾Æµé ¾ÆÈ÷¸á·ºÀÇ ¾Æµé Áß Çϳª°¡ ÇÇÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï ±×ÀÇ À̸§Àº ¾Æºñ¾Æ´ÞÀ̶ó ±×°¡ µµ¸ÁÇÏ¿© ´ÙÀ­¿¡°Ô·Î °¡¼­

      But Abiathar, a son of Ahimelech son of Ahitub, escaped and fled to join David.

    13. 21

      »ç¿ïÀÌ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ Á¦»çÀåµé Á×ÀÎ ÀÏÀ» ´ÙÀ­¿¡°Ô ¾Ë¸®¸Å

      He told David that Saul had killed the priests of the LORD.

    14. 22

      ´ÙÀ­ÀÌ ¾Æºñ¾Æ´Þ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ±× ³¯¿¡ ¿¡µ¼ »ç¶÷ µµ¿¢ÀÌ °Å±â ÀÖ±â·Î ±×°¡ ¹Ýµå½Ã »ç¿ï¿¡°Ô ¸»ÇÒ ÁÙ ³»°¡ ¾Ë¾Ò³ë¶ó ³× ¾Æ¹öÁö ÁýÀÇ ¸ðµç »ç¶÷ Á×Àº °ÍÀÌ ³ªÀÇ Å¿À̷δÙ

      Then David said to Abiathar: "That day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, I knew he would be sure to tell Saul. I am responsible for the death of your father's whole family.

      µÎ·Á¿öÇÏÁö ¸»°í ³»°Ô ÀÖÀ¸¶ó ³» »ý¸íÀ» ã´Â ÀÚ°¡ ³× »ý¸íµµ ã´Â ÀÚ´Ï ³×°¡ ³ª¿Í ÇÔ²² ÀÖÀ¸¸é ¾ÈÀüÇϸ®¶ó Çϴ϶ó

      Stay with me; don't be afraid; the man who is seeking your life is seeking mine also. You will be safe with me."
