시편 102:1~7

1. 1

   여호와여 내 기도를 들으시고 나의 부르짖음을 주께 상달하게 하소서

   Hear my prayer, O LORD; let my cry for help come to you.

2. 2

   나의 괴로운 날에 주의 얼굴을 내게서 숨기지 마소서 주의 귀를 내게 기울이사 내가 부르짖는 날에 속히 내게 응답하소서

   Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress. Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.

3. 3

   내 날이 연기 같이 소멸하며 내 뼈가 숯 같이 탔음이니이다

   For my days vanish like smoke; my bones burn like glowing embers.

4. 4

   내가 음식 먹기도 잊었으므로 내 마음이 풀 같이 시들고 말라 버렸사오며

   My heart is blighted and withered like grass; I forget to eat my food.

5. 5

   나의 탄식 소리로 말미암아 나의 살이 뼈에 붙었나이다

   Because of my loud groaning I am reduced to skin and bones.

6. 6

   나는 광야의 올빼미 같고 황폐한 곳의 부엉이 같이 되었사오며

   I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.

7. 7

   내가 밤을 새우니 지붕 위의 외로운 참새 같으니이다

   I lie awake; I have become like a bird alone on a roof.

여호수아 14:10~11

1. 10

   이제 보소서 여호와께서 이 말씀을 모세에게 이르신 때로부터 이스라엘이 광야에서 방황한 이 사십오 년 동안을 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 나를 생존하게 하셨나이다 오늘 내가 팔십오 세로되

   'Now then, just as the LORD promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the desert. So here I am today, eighty-five years old!

2. 11

   모세가 나를 보내던 날과 같이 오늘도 내가 여전히 강건하니 내 힘이 그 때나 지금이나 같아서 싸움에나 출입에 감당할 수 있으니

   I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I'm just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.
