    ±×·±Áï À°½ÅÀ¸·Î ¿ì¸® Á¶»óÀÎ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÌ ¹«¾ùÀ» ¾ò¾ú´Ù Çϸ®¿ä

    What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, discovered in this matter?

    ¸¸ÀÏ ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÌ ÇàÀ§·Î½á ÀÇ·Ó´Ù ÇϽÉÀ» ¹Þ¾ÒÀ¸¸é ÀÚ¶ûÇÒ °ÍÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸·Á´Ï¿Í Çϳª´Ô ¾Õ¿¡¼­´Â ¾ø´À´Ï¶ó

    If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about-but not before God.

    ¼º°æÀÌ ¹«¾ùÀ» ¸»ÇÏ´À³Ä ¾Æºê¶óÇÔÀÌ Çϳª´ÔÀ» ¹ÏÀ¸¸Å ±×°ÍÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô ÀÇ·Î ¿©°ÜÁø ¹Ù µÇ¾ú´À´Ï¶ó

    What does the Scripture say? 'Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.'

    ÀÏÇÏ´Â ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â ±× »éÀÌ ÀºÇý·Î ¿©°ÜÁöÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í º¸¼ö·Î ¿©°ÜÁö°Å´Ï¿Í

    Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation.

    ÀÏÀ» ¾Æ´ÏÇÒÁö¶óµµ °æ°ÇÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ÀÇ·Ó´Ù ÇϽô À̸¦ ¹Ï´Â ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â ±×ÀÇ ¹ÏÀ½À» ÀÇ·Î ¿©±â½Ã³ª´Ï

    However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

    ÀÏÇÑ °ÍÀÌ ¾øÀÌ Çϳª´Ô²² ÀÇ·Î ¿©±â½ÉÀ» ¹Þ´Â »ç¶÷ÀÇ º¹¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ´ÙÀ­ÀÌ ¸»ÇÑ ¹Ù

    David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

    ºÒ¹ýÀÌ »çÇÔÀ» ¹Þ°í Á˰¡ °¡¸®¾îÁüÀ» ¹Þ´Â »ç¶÷µéÀº º¹ÀÌ ÀÖ°í

    'Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

    ÁÖ²²¼­ ±× Á˸¦ ÀÎÁ¤ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ½Ç »ç¶÷Àº º¹ÀÌ ÀÖµµ´Ù ÇÔ°ú °°À¸´Ï¶ó

    Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.'
