Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.

  2. 13

    ¶ÇÇÑ ³ÊÈñ Áöü¸¦ ºÒÀÇÀÇ ¹«±â·Î ÁË¿¡°Ô ³»ÁÖÁö ¸»°í ¿ÀÁ÷ ³ÊÈñ ÀÚ½ÅÀ» Á×Àº ÀÚ °¡¿îµ¥¼ ´Ù½Ã »ì¾Æ³ ÀÚ °°ÀÌ Çϳª´Ô²² µå¸®¸ç ³ÊÈñ Áöü¸¦ ÀÇÀÇ ¹«±â·Î Çϳª´Ô²² µå¸®¶ó

Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.

  3. 14

    Á˰¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ÁÖÀåÇÏÁö ¸øÇϸ®´Ï ÀÌ´Â ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¹ý ¾Æ·¡¿¡ ÀÖÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϰí ÀºÇý ¾Æ·¡¿¡ ÀÖÀ½À̶ó

For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!

Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey-whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

  6. 17

    Çϳª´Ô²² °¨»çÇϸ®·Î´Ù ³ÊÈñ°¡ º»·¡ ÁËÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ´õ´Ï ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ÀüÇÏ¿© ÁØ ¹Ù ±³ÈÆÀÇ º»À» ¸¶À½À¸·Î ¼øÁ¾ÇÏ¿©

But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.

  7. 18

    Á˷κÎÅÍ ÇعæµÇ¾î ÀÇ¿¡°Ô Á¾ÀÌ µÇ¾ú´À´Ï¶ó

You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

  8. 19

    ³ÊÈñ À°½ÅÀÌ ¿¬¾àÇϹǷΠ³»°¡ »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¿¹´ë·Î ¸»Çϳë´Ï Àü¿¡ ³ÊÈñ°¡ ³ÊÈñ Áöü¸¦ ºÎÁ¤°ú ºÒ¹ý¿¡ ³»ÁÖ¾î ºÒ¹ý¿¡ À̸¥ °Í °°ÀÌ ÀÌÁ¦´Â ³ÊÈñ Áöü¸¦ ÀÇ¿¡°Ô Á¾À¸·Î ³»ÁÖ¾î °Å·èÇÔ¿¡ À̸£¶ó

I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.

  9. 20

    ³ÊÈñ°¡ ÁËÀÇ Á¾ÀÌ µÇ¾úÀ» ¶§¿¡´Â ÀÇ¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ÀÚÀ¯·Î¿ü´À´Ï¶ó

When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

  10. 21

    ³ÊÈñ°¡ ±× ¶§¿¡ ¹«½¼ ¿¸Å¸¦ ¾ò¾ú´À³Ä ÀÌÁ¦´Â ³ÊÈñ°¡ ±× ÀÏÀ» ºÎ²ô·¯¿öÇϳª´Ï ÀÌ´Â ±× ¸¶Áö¸·ÀÌ »ç¸ÁÀÓÀ̶ó

What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!

  11. 22

    ±×·¯³ª ÀÌÁ¦´Â ³ÊÈñ°¡ Á˷κÎÅÍ ÇعæµÇ°í Çϳª´Ô²² Á¾ÀÌ µÇ¾î °Å·èÇÔ¿¡ À̸£´Â ¿¸Å¸¦ ¸Î¾úÀ¸´Ï ±× ¸¶Áö¸·Àº ¿µ»ýÀ̶ó

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
