  1. 7

    ±×·±Áï ¿ì¸®°¡ ¹«½¼ ¸»À» Çϸ®¿ä À²¹ýÀÌ ÁË³Ä ±×·² ¼ö ¾ø´À´Ï¶ó À²¹ýÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾ÏÁö ¾Ê°í´Â ³»°¡ Á˸¦ ¾ËÁö ¸øÇÏ¿´À¸´Ï °ð À²¹ýÀÌ Å½³»Áö ¸»¶ó ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó¸é ³»°¡ ޽ÉÀ» ¾ËÁö ¸øÇÏ¿´À¸¸®¶ó

What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed I would not have known what sin was except through the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, 'Do not covet.'

  2. 8

    ±×·¯³ª Á˰¡ ±âȸ¸¦ Ÿ¼ °è¸íÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ³» ¼Ó¿¡¼ ¿Â°® ޽ÉÀ» ÀÌ·ç¾ú³ª´Ï ÀÌ´Â À²¹ýÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¸é Á˰¡ Á×Àº °ÍÀÓÀ̶ó

But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from law, sin is dead.

  3. 9

    Àü¿¡ À²¹ýÀ» ±ú´ÝÁö ¸øÇßÀ» ¶§¿¡´Â ³»°¡ »ì¾Ò´õ´Ï °è¸íÀÌ À̸£¸Å ÁË´Â »ì¾Æ³ª°í ³ª´Â Á×¾úµµ´Ù

Once I was alive apart from law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.

  4. 10

    »ý¸í¿¡ À̸£°Ô ÇÒ ±× °è¸íÀÌ ³»°Ô ´ëÇÏ¿© µµ¸®¾î »ç¸Á¿¡ À̸£°Ô ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ µÇ¾úµµ´Ù

I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death.

  5. 11

    Á˰¡ ±âȸ¸¦ Ÿ¼ °è¸íÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ³ª¸¦ ¼ÓÀÌ°í ±×°ÍÀ¸·Î ³ª¸¦ Á׿´´ÂÁö¶ó

For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.

  6. 12

    ÀÌ·Î º¸°Ç´ë À²¹ýÀº °Å·èÇÏ°í °è¸íµµ °Å·èÇϰí ÀǷοì¸ç ¼±Çϵµ´Ù

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.

  7. 13

    ±×·±Áï ¼±ÇÑ °ÍÀÌ ³»°Ô »ç¸ÁÀÌ µÇ¾ú´À³Ä ±×·² ¼ö ¾ø´À´Ï¶ó ¿ÀÁ÷ Á˰¡ ÁË·Î µå·¯³ª±â À§ÇÏ¿© ¼±ÇÑ ±×°ÍÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ³ª¸¦ Á×°Ô ¸¸µé¾úÀ¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â °è¸íÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ÁË·Î ½ÉÈ÷ ÁË µÇ°Ô ÇÏ·Á ÇÔÀ̶ó

Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! But in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

  8. 14

    ¿ì¸®°¡ À²¹ýÀº ½Å·ÉÇÑ ÁÙ ¾Ë°Å´Ï¿Í ³ª´Â À°½Å¿¡ ¼ÓÇÏ¿© ÁË ¾Æ·¡¿¡ Æȷȵµ´Ù

We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.

  9. 15

    ³»°¡ ÇàÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ³»°¡ ¾ËÁö ¸øÇϳë´Ï °ð ³»°¡ ¿øÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ÇàÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í µµ¸®¾î ¹Ì¿öÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ÇàÇÔÀ̶ó

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

  10. 16

    ¸¸ÀÏ ³»°¡ ¿øÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Â ±×°ÍÀ» ÇàÇÏ¸é ³»°¡ À̷νá À²¹ýÀÌ ¼±ÇÑ °ÍÀ» ½ÃÀÎÇϳë´Ï

And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.

  11. 17

    ÀÌÁ¦´Â ±×°ÍÀ» ÇàÇÏ´Â ÀÚ°¡ ³»°¡ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ³» ¼Ó¿¡ °ÅÇÏ´Â Á˴϶ó

As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.

  12. 18

    ³» ¼Ó °ð ³» À°½Å¿¡ ¼±ÇÑ °ÍÀÌ °ÅÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Â ÁÙÀ» ¾Æ³ë´Ï ¿øÇÔÀº ³»°Ô ÀÖÀ¸³ª ¼±À» ÇàÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ¾ø³ë¶ó

I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.

  13. 19

    ³»°¡ ¿øÇÏ´Â ¹Ù ¼±Àº ÇàÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í µµ¸®¾î ¿øÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Â ¹Ù ¾ÇÀ» ÇàÇϴµµ´Ù

For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing.

  14. 20

    ¸¸ÀÏ ³»°¡ ¿øÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Â ±×°ÍÀ» Çϸé À̸¦ ÇàÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â ³»°¡ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ³» ¼Ó¿¡ °ÅÇÏ´Â Á˴϶ó

Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

  15. 21

So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.

  16. 22

    ³» ¼Ó»ç¶÷À¸·Î´Â Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¹ýÀ» Áñ°Å¿öÇϵÇ

    For in my inner being I delight in God's law;

  17. 23

but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.

  18. 24

    ¿ÀÈ£¶ó ³ª´Â °ï°íÇÑ »ç¶÷À̷δ٠ÀÌ »ç¸ÁÀÇ ¸ö¿¡¼ ´©°¡ ³ª¸¦ °ÇÁ®³»·ª

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

  19. 25

Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
